The End

it was the last regular season game i would ever play in highschool. it was a chilly night in aliquippa late in the fourth quarter under min left and we just about to lose the game 31-14 and i was on the verge of tears and mind you on the field im very physical and dont take any shit from anyone. so were running out the clock and i pancake this kid and im on him roughing up a little. and i get up and he shoved me in the back and i just truned around and drilled that kid right in the face and his head like snapped back and it was right in front of the ref and i just see the flag go up and i imedently jogged to the sideline and got screamed at so bad. i was so embaressed and felt so ashamed of myself.

[edit] Early years

Pouncey was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He attended Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida, where he was a standout lineman for the Lakeland Dreadnaughts high school football team.[1] As a senior in 2006, he helped lead Lakeland High to its third consecutive Florida Class 5A state championship and second straight USA Today national championship.[1]

[edit] College career

Pouncey accepted an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida,[1] where he played for coach Urban Meyer's Florida Gators football team from 2007 to 2010.[2] As a freshman in 2007, he started the season as an offensive lineman but had to move to the defensive line as replacement when several defensive starters were injured.[1] Pouncey started four of thirteen games as a freshman, recording eight tackles and an interception.[1] As a sophomore in 2008, he moved back to the offensive line and started all fourteen of the Gators' games at right guard,[1] including the Gators' 24–14 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2009 BCS National Championship Game. After his junior season in 2009, Pouncey was named an Associated Press honorable mention All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) selection and a Pro Football Weekly first-team All-American.[1] As a senior team captain in 2010, he moved from guard to center for the Gators,[1] replacing his twin brother Maurkice Pouncey at center,[3] after Maurkice entered the 2010 NFL Draft following his junior year.[4]

A moment that will last a life time

A snapshot moment in my life is when ben simmen swated the ball away from the kid from hopewell to win the wpial championship. I will never forget that. I have never been so excited in my life, it was prob the crazist moment ever. Im getting goosebumps just thinking about it. How the situation came about was it was 3 and 20something and instead of running draw with shell to get close they threw it to mark ross which would have been another touchdown but jared buck swated the ball away. Then it brought up 4 and long under 1min left to go in the game from like the 30 yardline and west a is up by 8 points the score was 28-36 and matt hundeski drops back and uncorks one to I think mark ross and it would have been a touhdown to potential tie the game but ben had something to say about it and came outta nowere to save the game. Everyone on the sidline went crazy and was running around then we too a knee and were the 2009wpial champions the stormed the field. It was one moment in my life that I will never forget. The 09 team will always have a special place in my heart.

Mike and Maurkice at Florida

POUNCEY ON POUNCEY

POUNCEY ON POUNCEY
By all accounts, center Maurkice Pouncey’s 2010 rookie season – which included starting all 16 regular season and two playoff games and a Pro Bowl selection – was a huge success.
But Pouncey says his twin brother Mike, a rookie with the Miami Dolphins, is doing even better than he was at this point in his rookie season.
“He’s dominating man. My first year I had some mistakes and stuff ... but watching him on film, doin’ guys like that, he’s in beast mode out there man, I was like ‘wow bro’... when I went down there this past weekend I took some of my film on my iPad and he brought some back that I got to watch I was like wow bro, that’s awesome."
So what is Mike doing that Maurkice didn't?
“He’s downfield making cuts, knocking guys to the ground, running guys over mauling them to the ground and stuff – he’s been doing a great job this year. He should be in the Pro Bowl."
If Mike Pouncey was motivated by how well Maurkice had done in the NFL, Maurkice says that Mike has upped the stakes.
"He done set the bar higher – I gotta go out there and go crazy," Pouncey laughed

christmas

the meaning of xmas changes over the years. when your a little kid its all about you. its all getting and no giving. but i think it should be that way because i loved getting a buch of presents from santa. now that i found out he isnt real its just not the same christmas morning. but i still realy like christmas morning and all the cheer that goes along with it. but when u get older it geared more towards the idea of giving. i like getting people presents for christmas. i wish i had more money to get people realy nice stuff bc i love the look on their faces when they get something they truly like. but anyay as a whole i still love christmas and i always will.

A little over a year ago I visited a girl that I wasn’t even that good friends with in the hospital. I went with zach molly and dundas. Molls and dundas were good friends with this person but me and zach were like kinda friends with her so we didn’t know if it would be ok but it was a nice thing to do and it might make her day seeing two people she doesn’t realy know take the time to visit. So I rember going into the hospital and getting frisked by prob the sexyist guy I have ever seen so im all rilled up but anyway we see her standing there smiling at us and were like ok at least shes cool about it. So we go in and that day I realy got to know her thhat day and we became  realy good friends soon after that bc she got out oof the hospital.i forget were im at so im starting with she gets out of the hospital and we become realy close friends with her. Then one night when us 5 are out bowling molls tells me she likes me then she got all embarssed but I refused to let it be akward so a couple weeks lateer were out laser taging and im going ham and shes all over me and I did think se was cute and she  was realy getting up  on me so later that night I was with zach and dundas and they were like you should go out with her she def likes you blah blah blah so then I broke down and asked her out through text messege probly wasn’t the best way to do it  but it is what it is so any way like te 2 min  it took her to respond was like the 2 longest min of my kife then the verdict was in. Yes! And the croowd goes wild you should have seen dundas it was  pretty embarrasing but that’s how I started dating jackie.

College real talk

What are things you factor in when chooseing a college. there are a lot of things i use to factor in like the generic things like how close to home, the quailty of the major that you chooseing, campus life, dorm rooms. hear are some other things i consider the cafeateria, the football program/playing time, the athletic facilites, race and ethnicity of the student population(take it how you want but mabye i like multicultural stuff and diversity or mabye not so much), class room size/student to teacher ratio, reliogious faith(if they are big on it or ot so much), stuff to do around campus, state or privite, if significant other is there or is going to go there,if friends are going there, a big thing is job placement, alumni donating big money shout out thiel, but when it all boils down to it do you choose were you want to go over where gives you the best price. idk id like to go to westminster bc they have a great education program but if thiel or waynesburg or bethany would pay up then idk. two questions i have and feel free to comment is did i leave anything off the list and do you think money decides where you will go to college.
i dont know what to say today. im glad the kids will be here today but thats about it. dont you just love the feeling when you do know if you did your homework then you open your folder and see its done. we just started the 15 min of silence and i agree with Mr. Denk it is very prodective. thats the reason im sitting here bloging instead of working on my play bc i finished it.

Tom Jackson

i was watching Bart Scotts interview afte they beat New England to go to the AFC Championship, and it is so funny. check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJshw2Axsqc

Schools

im glad i finished up my play thing in denks class so i can sit here and do what D-Flo loves most blog. the school should make a class dedicated to just blogging id take that class for sure. i think we should be given more time to blog bc its a fun was to get kids to write. anyway enough about blogging, thiel is one of the many schools recruiting me and zach and we are suppose to go up there on friday for their dome opening but idt my parents want to drive us up so im kinda bumbed about that but its ok. im gonna have to call up i cant think of his name right now but the thiel recruiter and tell him i cant go. he's gonna be sad but oh well nothing i can do. i mean i know how to drive up to westminster but thiel i think you take 79 and im not 100% on that road so idk. but more about colleges i realy do like westminster. id say they are my number 1 right now. id be given a chance to play as a freshman and they are a good team so its not like we'd lose everygame but more impotantly they have a great education program. i also realy liked there campus they have some nice old bulidings made out of stone that look pretty cool. their cafe was subpar but thats alright and there doorms were just typical doorms. but i think the most impotant thing is that they do have that good education background which would help me get a job after college. other schools still in contention is thiel and waynesburg. there are others recruiting me but they will have to offer a lot of finacial aid to get me to go there.

Blog so hard!

im so sick of people. i just hate how everyone in this world is so selfish and dosent care about the interests of others. now i no there are plenty of good people but im yet to see them. and i cant stand people who dont respect others opinions. its cool that you dont agree wit what i say or blog about but i dont care if you dont like it im not speaking for you or bloggin for you so lets keep are opinions to are selfes bc i sure as hell dont want to  hear wha you have to say. another thing i cant stand is people who dont know there place. i hate people that try acting older than they are and try acting up and think they deserve the advantages you get as a senoit/upperclassman. were all senoirs for a reason just waint you turn like everybody else and please stfu. and i also cant stand people who wont rise up and be a leader. if its your place to lead grow up and let your nuts drop and start acting your age. and quit denying responsibility take some of the blam because thats why your in the spot that you are. you'll never be better at anything if you dont thing you did anything wrong. it time to grow up and put some lead in you pencil. knowone better start jockin me today or i might explode on them heads up but im useualy good on concentrating my anger toward what/whom im mad at. thats another thing that realy grinds my gears is whem someones mad its oh lets stop what were doing bc so an so is mad. im sorry but that not how it works just deal with it. and another thing that tends to get me going is facebook. you can post a staus about me and guess what ill never see it so it kinda defeats the purpose. and what is that anyway instead of growing up and trying to fux a problem lets go post a little staus to make thing even worse. people now a days always want to be part of the problem and not the solution. and im sick of people jockin other people for doing something they love. if you passionate about something go for it. i dont go to church but im all for other people going. when i see someone givin some one a hard time for wanting to go to church that pisses me off. or if you love a ceraint subject in school like writeing that shouldnt make you weird for write pomes and stuff but that people these days doing drugs is the cool thing. ya real cool when your working a job that dosent pay shit and trying to support you kids white that kid whole love writing went to college for free and is bill gatesin as a college professer. not so cool now are you. needless to say this is why i dont hangout with that many people outside of school. im jusgt sick of people. That shit cray!

Biggie is the best rapper ever(excluding lil wayne). his song are just so good. if you listen to victory, juicy and party and bullshit(in the usa) you cant tell me if he wasnt gunned down he couldnt have made some all time classics. i am so upset that he died. the world will never know what they truly missed.
