i predicted the city league championship wrong, and a AA and a AAA game wrong. but i did pick the upset over Central Catholic. so that brings me to the WPIAL finals at Heinz Field.

• Class AAAA Title Game: Upper St. Clair vs. North Allegheny, 8 p.m.
• Class AAA Title Game: Montour vs. Knoch, 2 p.m.
• Class AA Title Game: Aliquippa vs. Jeannette, 5 p.m.
• Class A Title Game: Sto-Rox vs. Clairton, 11 a.m.

Allderdice (5-6) vs. University Prep (10-1), 1 p.m. Saturday at Cupples Stadium
it is preps first year and they have done well. it is a combination of 4 schools but dice is pretty good i played them pre season and big Jarrett is a solid play and the upset brasher last week im picking the upset Allderdice

AAAA

North Allegheny (11-0) vs. Gateway (9-2), at Fox Chapel
NA is the defending WPIAL Champ they are very good this year, dealing USC their only lose but Gateway is a very talented team and has had a harder road in the playoffs but NA has prob the best linemen in the WPIAL. North Allegheny

Central Catholic (11-0) vs. Upper St. Clair (10-1), at Chartiers Valley
CC was ranked 23ed in the nation preseason and they beat Archbishop Wood week 1 but i have played against USC and they are so good. there d-line is unreal ut if dakota conwell doesnt play they will lose but i think he will. Upper St. Clair

AAA

Central Valley (11-0) vs. Montour (9-2), at Ambridge
Parkway show down this is the 4th meeting in 2 years from these two reams and the best game in town this week. they are  both extremly talented but i think montour is more skilled. the seris is (2-1) CV but i think montour will even the score. Montour

Franklin Regional (11-0) vs. Knoch (11-0), at ValleyFR is just better up front than Knoch they have Dane Brown whomwill run away with it, Knoch has been riding on the tragic incodent but sadly it will come to an end. I played Knoch and i think we could have beat them. i wasnt impressed. Franklin Regional

AA

Aliquippa (11-0) vs. Greensburg Central Catholic (10-1), at North Hills
GCC is good but the quips are prob the best tradtion in PA they had some of the best players in the nfl as alumni. winner and seeking their 14th wpial champ Aliquippa

 

Jeannette (11-0) vs. Seton-LaSalle (11-0), at Elizabeth Forward 

Jeannette is good again but LaSalle is kind of new on the scene and they are extremly good there quarter back is prob as good as his brother(took those who we dont speak of to lose in the state champ game) i have been impressed with them latly so im picking the upset Seton-LaSalle

 

A

Clairton (11-0) vs. Rochester (10-1), at West Allegheny
i will be attending this one. i like Rochester a lot but they did lose to Sto-Rox and Clairton is dominant in A so they we keep it rolling on thier streek Clairton

 

Sto-Rox (11-0) vs. Bishop Canevin (11-0), at Moon
two undefeateds going at it but Sto-Rox has more merit to them and they are way more talented i dont think it will  be that close.Sto-Rox

Life After

My West A football carrer is now over and it hasnt been easy goin back to normal life not football life. I have been playing here for the past 3 years and now its over. Football isnt just a game, its a lifestyle. im sad that its gone and would do anything to get it back. Playing here the past 3 years have been the best memories of my life and now its no more. All the alumni were right. its not the same when its done. I was up at Thiel bc there recruiting me and i was watching a game and they didnt take it serious and they didnt realy care if they won. thats not me. id do anything to win a game. My favorite memory is winning the WPIAL Championship obviously but some of my other favorites were my 10 grade year before the moon game the playing in the game as my first varsity. Starting all 10 games this year at Right Tackle. winning the JV Parkway conference championshp my junior year. this isnt a good memory but playing with 2 separated shoulders and 2 torn labrims. In the end everything was worth it and i wouldnt trade a game/practice for anything and id do anything to get it back. I miss it bad.

football

today were heading up to play Knoch in the first round of the class AAA WPIAL playoffs. its projected to be a barn burner. The undefeated Knights vs. the Parkway powerehouse 4th seed. Both teams have a lot to prove in this game and will prob e the best game around (other than woody high vs. mt. lebo). we have been game planning and practiceing all week long and the first and hopefully not the last playoff game is here for the Indians. most of us have not started a game in the playoff before so it will be very exciting. Knoch will be playing with a chip on there shoulder because tragicly one of there cheer leaders passed away in a car crash this week. west A will be playing their first game on grass this year so that should be pretty fun. Hopefuly it doesnt play into Knochs hand but it shouldnt bc ere both playing on the same feild. Lets go west a because i dont want to make this my last.
